Duncan Mcsporran, Founder and Principal

Duncan is a former professional military officer in the British Army, with diverse experience working as the lead on numerous highly complex projects across industrial and private sectors throughout the world.  Following a secondment to CFB Gagetown, where he was responsible for the leadership training of all prospective Canadian Army Officers, he settled permanently in Fredericton, founding Cape Wrath Consulting. 

He has a very diverse technical background, from agriculture to space, with a wide business network, in which he is a willing and energetic advocate for Atlantic Canada.  A Fellow of the Institute of Leadership and Management, and a graduate of the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, he holds a BSc in Cartography and is a member of the Project Managers Institute.

Duncan is married to Naomi, with whom he has 3 children, the oldest of which is at St FX University studying engineering. His spare time is spent coaching youth rugby at Fredericton Loyalists RFC.
